Description
Drawtex R201 Advanced Hydro-Conductive Wound Dressing Roll 20cm x 1m – Pack of 5
The Drawtex Roll 20cm x 1m Advanced Wound Healing Dressing (R201) 5s is an advanced hydro-conductive wound dressing designed to manage excess wound exudate and support wound bed preparation in acute and chronic wounds.
Powered by exclusive LevaFiber Technology, Drawtex uses three modes of action — capillary, hydro-conductive and electrostatic — to lift, hold and transfer wound fluid, bacteria, slough, toxins and harmful matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) away from the wound bed.
Unlike conventional absorbent dressings, Drawtex helps manage wound bioburden and remove debris while supporting a favourable environment for wound healing. Its versatile roll format can be cut to fit the wound area and layered when additional exudate management is required.
Suitable for a variety of wound care applications, Drawtex can also be used under compression therapy when clinically appropriate and under the guidance of a healthcare professional.

Application Guidelines
-
Prepare: Cut the dressing to the required size and shape. Either side may be placed against the wound bed.
-
Apply: For dry or low-exudate wounds, place a non-adherent perforated contact layer before applying Drawtex. For moderate to highly exuding wounds, apply directly as clinically indicated.
-
Layer: Add further layers if required to manage heavy exudate, following professional guidance.
-
Cover: Secure with an appropriate secondary dressing or bandage. Non-occlusive tapes or wraps may be used.
-
Change: Replace every 1–3 days as necessary, depending on wound condition and exudate levels. Intervals may be extended when exudate is controlled and clinically appropriate.
-
Remove gently: If the dressing adheres to the wound, irrigate with saline before removal to help minimise trauma.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and the treating healthcare professional's recommendations.
