Description
Drawtex R101 Advanced Hydro-Conductive Wound Dressing Roll 10cm x 1m – Pack of 5
The Drawtex Roll 10cm x 1m Advanced Wound Healing Dressing (R101) 5s is an advanced hydro-conductive wound dressing designed to support wound bed preparation and manage excess wound exudate. Powered by exclusive LevaFiber Technology, Drawtex uses capillary, hydro-conductive and electrostatic actions to lift, hold and transfer wound fluid, bacteria, slough, toxins and other substances away from the wound bed.
Unlike conventional absorbent dressings, Drawtex is designed to do more than absorb wound fluid. It helps manage wound bioburden, remove debris, and support a balanced wound environment conducive to healing, while helping protect the surrounding skin from excessive moisture.
Suitable for a variety of acute and chronic wounds, Drawtex can be cut to fit the wound area and layered when additional exudate management is required. It can also be used under compression therapy when clinically appropriate.
Available in a convenient pack of 5, the Drawtex R101 roll is a practical option for healthcare professionals seeking versatile wound care solutions.

Application Guidelines
-
Prepare the dressing: Cut Drawtex to the required size and shape. Any side may be placed against the wound bed.
-
Apply appropriately: For dry or low-exudate wounds, place a non-adherent perforated contact layer before applying Drawtex. For moderate to highly exuding wounds, apply directly as clinically indicated.
-
Layer if necessary: Additional layers may be used for wounds producing heavy amounts of exudate.
-
Secure and cover: Apply a suitable secondary dressing or bandage. Use appropriate non-occlusive tape or wraps to secure the dressing.
-
Change the dressing: Replace every 1–3 days as needed, according to the wound condition and exudate levels. The interval may be extended once exudate is controlled and as clinically appropriate.
-
Remove gently: If the dressing adheres to the wound, irrigate with saline before removal to help minimise trauma.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and the treating healthcare professional's guidance.
